My Story

Age: 22

Start: August 2020

Fresh out of school and looking to find a way into sales I landed at Talk Scoop at 18 with more enthusiasm than know how. I was looking for a business where I could directly influence how much I can make. Talk Scoop fit the bill.

 

I was lucky enough to be surrounded by a highly skilled leadership team that directly invested time and training into my career. Throughout my three years I held multiple roles. Starting as a lead generator I learnt the fundamental sales skills that I carry with me to this day. Field sales has a way of forcing you to constantly improve.

The training I received gave me opportunities to travel and work interstate. Leading teams and campaigns in Brisbane and across regional NSW. Since day one at Talk Scoop I had the goal of becoming a Solar Designer. The specialist that designs and ultimately sells solar systems to family's across NSW and QLD. With a fair bit or grit and plenty of pub pitching to the powers to be, I got my shot. I look back and appreciate the pathway made available to me, developing my skills and tools to set a strong financial foundation for myself.

 

In August of 2023, the road was calling. I'd spent 3 years working with people from all over the world. It was my turn to go see it. My time at Talk Scoop allowed me to do that. I'm now working as an energy consultant at one of the largest brokers in the UK. To this day I directly rely on the skills learnt at Talk Scoop. Some of my best mates have either used Talkscoop as a springboard to a sales career elsewhere in the world or are still involved in the organisation now.

 

You'd be hard pressed to find a business as willing to invest in you if you put your head down and make things happen.
